Help
Support STPP!
As readers may know, the electronic bulletin Transfer,
the newsletter Progress,
and most of STPP’s publications and other services are offered free of
charge. Although we are not a
membership organization, we do rely on individual donations to help us
provide these services. Readers
who wish to make a
tax-deductible donation to STPP can now do so on-line through a secure
server on our home page ( www.transact.org
). This service is being
provided in cooperation with the Environmental News Network (www.enn.com
).
Job
Opening
STPP is seeking a Campaign Coordinator to advocate for
statewide policy reform in our New Mexico office. Applicant should be a self-starter with experience in
advocacy, organizing, and dealing with the media. Knowledge of
transportation issues, state and local politics, and Spanish a plus. For
the job description, qualifications, and application procedures, see http://www.transact.org.
A
Holiday Gift from STPP
STPP recently revamped its “Advocate’s Toolbox” to
include power-point slides of the main statistics from all of our recent
Quality of Life Campaign reports. The
Toolbox has been reorganized by topic so that materials on model
legislation, media advocacy and using data can be more easily found. To
access these tools, go to http://www.transact.org/Toolmonth/toolbox.htm
.
We encourage advocacy partners to use these materials
in all of your upcoming presentations!
