STPP's New Mexico field office provides assistance to citizen groups, local transportation agencies and elected officials in order to help stakeholders take advantage of the new opportunities available under the federal transportation bill to link transportation to land use, housing, social equity, livable communities and smart growth. STPP's New Mexico office is helping to build a statewide transportation advocates coalition, bring media attention to emerging transportation issues, and conduct research and analysis.
