help community and state leaders use federal
surface transportation law, including recent
changes under the SAFETEA-LU law, to expand
transit, increase pedestrian and bicycle travel,
improve safety of
all system users and channel transportation
investments to achieve community objectives.
The workshop series is part of a broader program
to support transportation reform efforts in
local areas and states throughout the U.S.
